Course Objective
The aim of the course is to acquire the basic knowledge and skills on issues of carryin out measurements about the growth characteristics in field crops under different environments and applications and analysis of the growth with obtained data, yield formation, yield-quality relationships, genotypeXenvironment interactions in growth and development.
Brief Content of the Course
photoperiod, temperature, water and soil, dormancy for yield in cultivated plants and germination, germination recession, vernalization and thermoperiodicity in plants. Possibilities of application of plant hormones on the formation of yield, morphological and physiological indicators of resistance, grain filling physiology, yield-quality relationships in earliness, genotype x environment interactions in growth and development and the recent literature
