Within the scope of the Natural Disasters and Disaster Education course offered by our department, a practical training activity was organized to support theoretical knowledge through hands-on experience. The training was conducted by Alpay AYAN, the course instructor and also the Provincial Disaster Coordinator of Niğde UMKE.

As part of the activity, students received practical training on topics such as tent setup procedures used in disaster and emergency situations, campsite organization, and field coordination. The training aimed to enhance students’ preparedness for disasters, teamwork skills, and field response capabilities.

The practical training, which had also been organized in previous years, once again attracted significant interest from students this year and provided participants with valuable field experience in disaster management.
