Our Faculty's Deputy Dean and Painting Department Lecturer Assoc. Dr. Şemsi Altaş, T.R. He was deemed worthy of the achievement award with his work "Bağlı Dreams" in the Painting category of the State Painting and Sculpture Competition organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The competition, which is being held for the 76th time this year, has been held since 1939 to support art and artists, to contribute to the production of new works and to ensure that works in different branches are exhibited together. Assoc. Prof. received the achievement award in the competition, where participation was higher than in previous years, as it coincided with the 100th anniversary of our Republic.
