Course Objective
In the whole world, digital data analysis in both science and social sciences is carried out and evaluated within the scope of geographic information technologies. The main goal here is to establish the causality between space and data in the geographical thought base of social sciences and to provide various numerical correlations depending on the variables. All kinds of work to be done in social areas, because of the use of ready-made map programs in the multi-disciplinary thinking system between social areas can be developed. Almost all of the similar practices in the world and Turkey is conducted based on the spatial analysis. When the literature related to history, archeology, anthropology, geology and geography, especially in sociological studies, is searched, it is seen that thousands of different problems are in search of a numerical relationship rather than mapping only by using geographical location determinants. The main objective of this course is to enable social studies students to evaluate their undergraduate achievements in their current lives after their undergraduate education, to be able to establish correlation between the branches of science and to make simple applications.
Brief Content of the Course
The main objective is to provide a correlation between social sciences and earth sciences and to develop an understanding of the data obtained through field observations. As a factor that differentiates the geographic space primarily for this purpose, the sanctions on the civilizations, the recent global changes and the sustainability and adaptation studies will be examined. The relationship between various disciplines such as Geography, History, Archeology, Sociology and Anthropology, which has an important place in Social Sciences, will be given under the title of bir basic approaches osy. The differentiations of the data obtained in the studies in other places and how they can benefit from and use technological applications in order to establish their interest and commitment for their causality will be exemplified. How to carry the collected data to digital environment, which statistical approaches will be used and how to visualize will be the most important achievements.
