An awareness event was organized at our Faculty within the scope of World Hand Hygiene Day, observed on May 5, emphasizing once again the importance of hand hygiene. Throughout the day, awareness-raising activities were conducted through an information stand with the participation of patients, students, and staff.

Within the framework of the event, informative sessions on hand hygiene were provided, and correct handwashing techniques were demonstrated to participants through practical applications. In addition, various informational materials and small gifts were distributed to attendees.

The event, organized to highlight the critical role of hand hygiene in preventing infections and ensuring patient safety in healthcare services, was carried out with significant interest and participation.

It was once again underlined that hand hygiene is a fundamental component of both individual and public health, and that awareness activities will continue under the motto “Clean hands, healthy futures.”
