Gaining competencies related to the basic concepts of the developmental characteristics of children with special needs, different types of disabilities, factors causing disability, recognizing and evaluating disabled people, special education institutions and inclusion practices.

Basic concepts related to special education, different types of disabilities, factors causing disability, recognizing and evaluating disabled people, special education programs implemented in the world and in Turkey, preparing individual and group education programs for children in need of special education, methods used in special education, to gain competencies related to inclusion in special education.
