Course Objective
With a rich and deeply rooted past, the Near East reflects its understanding of artists and its plastic arts in Central Asia. To introduce archaeological studies in chronological order and foreground in terms of architectural art form.
Brief Content of the Course
The concept of beauty in Central Asian geography and its reflection in plastic arts; In terms of chronology, the Middle Ages are taken into consideration in a comparative way by taking architectural foreground in terms of art type. In this general framework, the concept of Turkish art will be explained and the previous Central Asian Turkish art from Islam will be discussed. The topics of barbarism, nomadism, Scythian, Hun political formations and their problems will be discussed. Central Asia, especially the reflections of Turkish art to Europe will be emphasized.
