Course Objective
This course, especially the level of national income, prices, and an emphasis on the determinants of the labor force is intended to explain to students the basic macroeconomic concepts. Inflation, unemployment and national income theories such as the current problems are examined. Course, the national income calculations, short-and long-term analysis of aggregate demand and supply, monetary policy, inflation, economic growth, international trade, foreign trade policies, exchange rates, balance of payments includes the basic macroeconomic concepts. The main purpose of this course, the theory of macroeconomics is to bring an analytical perspective. National income calculations, the theory of consumption and savings, investment spending, inflation, unemployment, economic conjuncture and the dynamics of economic growth, aggregate demand and aggregate supply, money demand, monetary and fiscal policies, public debt and budget deficit are among the topics covered in this course.
Brief Content of the Course
In this course, the structure of economic fluctuations, short and long term effects of fiscal and monetary policy and a broad set of topics such as modeling the behavior of consumption and investment have been analyzed. The aim of this course, as well as a deeper understanding of macroeconomic theory, this theory is applied to provide a broader knowledge of the main policy issues.
