Course Objective
Learning the basic principle and techniques of Cartography studies, implementing Cartographic method and techniques needed in the land studies, carrying out mapping studies, using the mapping method and techniques in the numeric fields (CBS)
Brief Content of the Course
Definition and historical development of Cartography; scientists who serve for cartography and place in geography of Cartography. Earth and coordinate systems, projections types according to general classification, projection selection, fundamentals of map-take and map-making.The basics of Geodesy (Triangulation (triangulation) Leveling, Plane method) and photogrammetry.
