Course Objectives 
1To introduce the global and national significance of buffalo breeding, providing comprehensive knowledge about buffalo population status, breed characteristics, and production systems in both Turkey and the world.
2To explain the biological and environmental factors affecting productivity traits (milk, meat, reproduction, calf rearing) in buffaloes and to develop students’ abilities to manage these factors effectively.
3To teach modern techniques and practices in buffalo nutrition, reproduction management, and herd health, aiming to enhance production efficiency, sustainability, and animal welfare.
4To provide knowledge and awareness about buffalo products (milk, meat, hides, etc.), their processing, utilization, and marketing, emphasizing economic sustainability and product quality.
5To develop students’ competencies in scientific reasoning, problem-solving, and ethical decision-making related to buffalo breeding and management.
