Course Objective
The aim of the program is to train experts who comprehend field knowledge in its theoretical and historical context, deepen it with critical thinking and research methods, adhere to ethical principles, and have high written and oral expression and digital competencies.
Brief Content of the Course
This course builds on the basic syntax and verb conjugations acquired in Arabic II; it covers topics such as personal pronouns (muttasıl–munfasıl), demonstrative nouns, noun-i mevsul, number-adjective agreement, verb conjugations (mâzi–muzâri–emir), nasb and cezm cases of muzâri, ‘kâne and its brothers’, ‘laysa’, the five verbs (الأفعال الخمسة) and the omission of nun, prohibition and imperative lam, ism-i tafdîl, color names, and broken plurals. It also aims to develop communicative competence towards the A2 level through reading, comprehension, speaking, and writing activities.
