Course Objective
The course aims to ensure that students learn the origins and meanings of Sufism and Sufi terminology, the formation of Sufism as a science, its place among other Islamic sciences and its relationship with them, its fundamental concepts, key works, and renowned Sufis. Another objective of the course is to provide students with knowledge about the fundamental topics of Sufism and to enable them to gain a correct perspective on the resolution of contemporary Sufi issues.
Brief Content of the Course
Topics such as the origin and meaning of the words Sufism and Sufi, the formation of Sufism as a science, the place of Sufism among other Islamic sciences and its relationship with them, the basic concepts of Sufism, its fundamental works, and famous names will be discussed.
