Course Objective
The purpose of the course is to teach the models and theories of macroeconomic issues; to discuss macroeconomic facts within this framework
Brief Content of the Course
National income accounting and the basic macroeconomic indicators; aggregate demand, consumption and the multiplier; goods and money markets in the IS-LM model framework; monetary policy, fiscal policy and the crowding out effect; exchange rate and the balanace of payments; fixed and flexible exchange rate regimes, capital mobility and the Mundell-Fleming model
