Course Objective
This course aims to comprehensively examine the expenditure and revenue policies of public economics, along with public choice theories. In addition to current issues such as income distribution, poverty, and globalization, it aims to provide students with a critical perspective on public economics through theoretical approaches to optimal taxation and public decision-making processes.
Brief Content of the Course
This course covers fundamental topics in public economics, including public expenditure theories, economic analysis of taxes, and optimal taxation theories. Issues related to income distribution and public revenues are analyzed through public decision-making and choice theories. The effects of education, health, and globalization on the public sector are evaluated, and the changing structure of public economics is examined. The course provides both theoretical and practical knowledge to understand the core processes in public economics.
