Course Objectives 
1Understanding Basic Concepts and Principles: One of the main goals of the criminal law course is to explain to students the basic concepts and principles of criminal law. This includes topics such as crime, criminality, types of punishment, measure of punishment, rights and responsibility of criminals.
2Understanding Crime Definition and Elements: The course aims to provide students with the ability to understand the definition of crimes and their elements. This includes the legal definition of crimes, elements of a crime, attempted crime, consequences of committing a crime, and more.
3Understanding Criminal Sentences and Execution: Students are given information about the types of penalties applied in criminal law and the execution of these penalties. In this context, different types of punishments such as prison sentences, fines, prison sentences and how they are applied are discussed.
4Understanding Trial Processes and Human Rights: Criminal law course aims to provide students with the ability to understand trial processes. This includes human rights and due process, such as the right to be found guilty, the right to a fair trial, the right to legal aid.
5Developing Sensitivity to Legal Ethics and Human Rights: The course aims to develop sensitivity in students about respecting legal ethical values and human rights. This encourages students to behave in accordance with the universal values of law and ethical rules.
