Course Objective
In addition to the “Guitar Education and Accompaniment 1” course, students will perform intermediate-level polyphonic guitar pieces by practicing new techniques and musical exercises. They will also create accompaniments for folk tunes and school songs by forming chords with different rhythmic patterns. Furthermore, the course aims to enable students to compose new school songs.
Brief Content of the Course
Learning irregular rhythmic structures and practicing ways to vary these rhythmic structures, learning barre chords, transposing using a capo, practicing writing melodies (solos) and accompaniments for songs of various genres, accompanying in different styles belonging to Turkish folk music, art music, and popular music genres with the new playing techniques they have learned, and playing intermediate-level polyphonic guitar pieces.
