Course Objective
Introducing the basic principles and elements of design and making applications about their use in two and three dimensional design.
Brief Content of the Course
The definition of the design, the components that make up the design (line, shape, measure, spacing, texture, color, light and shadow, emphasis, array, motion) and the principles that direct the design (repeat-rhythm, intermittent repetition, balance, contrast, harmonization, domination, unity, suitability, hierarchy, completeness) is studied in detail and the objectives and benefits of design education and the stages of design studies are given. Sample design studies are carried out in line with the design principles and design components learned within the course.
