Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide students with a basis for landscape ecology, to show the effects of natural ecological factors on the structure of the landscape and to produce ecological solutions for problem areas.
Brief Content of the Course
Introduction to landscape ecology and basic concepts, the main fields of landscape ecology, the contribution of landscape ecology to Landscape Architecture, the relations of landscape ecology with other disciplines, the short history of landscape ecology, the natural ecological factors that form the landscape structure and their relations, pollution and its effects on the environment.
