Course Objective
The aim of the course is to introduce the morphological characters of Gymnosperms distributed in the world and especially the morphological characters of the taxa naturally distributed in Turkey, to teach the ecological requirements of the taxa and the purposes for which they can be used in the field of Landscape Architecture. It is aimed to support students with technical trips.
Brief Content of the Course
Plant world in general, flora and vegetation, nomenclature in plants, general characteristics and systematics of plants belonging to Gymnosperms, Gymnosperm members growing in the world and especially in Turkey, introductions, important genera, species, subspecies, botanical, growing environment and distribution characteristics of cultivars and varieties, aesthetics and aesthetics of plants in landscape architecture evaluation in terms of functional usage features.
