Course Objective
To provide information that can analyze the morphological structure of an area where landscape design will be made, develop design ideas suitable for this structure, and make necessary topographic corrections / improvements in the field in line with design ideas.
Brief Content of the Course
Basic concepts, relations of land morphology and landscape design, topographic maps, contour curves, topographic sections, introduction to area shaping, re-shaping the space in accordance with the design idea: Building surroundings, sloping areas, terraces, sports and playgrounds, pedestrian and roadways, gradual reinforcement areas, water surface surroundings, etc. Reforming studies, excavation and fill calculations, field shaping in a real or hypothetical area and application work on excavation-fill calculations.
