Course Objective

Brief Content of the Course

The course consists of three main parts: landscape planning theory and methods, urban landscape planning and rural landscape planning. Within the scope of landscape planning theory and methods; utopia, ecotopia, planning design differentiation, landscape classification, landscape plan, landscape construction, landscape and urban eskentsel open and green urban design, landscape management, protection of landscapes and so on. "concepts" and McHARG, Lewis, Hills et al. "planning approaches" developed and used by landscape planners are explained. Within the scope of urban landscape planning; urban open and green space development in different planning periods of Ankara within this framework with open and green space system and standards; summarize cities and urbanization discussed, urban utopias, modernism and 80 pre spatial planning and urban development in Turkey within the scope of the idea of postmodernism and post-processed urbanization and population dynamics in relation to a subject. Within the scope of Rural Landscape Planning; Planning criteria for land use types of the rural landscape (picnic, camping, tourism, etc.) are explained.
