1By learning the historical development of Turkish art, being able to recognize the styles and techniques of different periods and reflect them in one’s own artistic production.
2By examining pre-Islamic and post-Islamic art examples, being able to relate the understanding of motifs, patterns, and composition to contemporary painting practices.
3By comprehending the aesthetic approach in architecture, miniature, calligraphy, tile, and decorative arts, being able to interpret this approach in visual forms of expression.
4By analyzing the cultural and social contexts of Turkish art, being able to use art history knowledge in developing critical thinking and an original artistic language.
