Course Objective
The aim of this course is to make students aware of basic financial issues and teach the structure and functioning of the financial system, making financial planning, calculating capital cost, making capital budgeting, making decisions about working capital management and capital structure and profit distribution policy.
Brief Content of the Course
Financial management and functions, break-even analysis and leverage, interest concept and annuity, financial planning, capital budgeting, risk and return concept, calculation of capital cost, optimal capital structure decisions, determining the dividend distribution policy of the enterprise, operational capital management, short term financing instruments.
