1The aim of this course is to examine the theoretical foundations of measurement and evaluation in social studies education at the graduate level. The course aims to enable students to develop assessment tools appropriate for social studies teaching, apply validity and reliability principles, compare traditional and alternative assessment approaches, and interpret assessment results in relation to the teaching and learning process.
