Course Objective
The letters in the Arabic Alphabet used in Ottoman and other Turkish sources namely Ottoman alphabet will be introduced starting from the letters and then moved to read the easy words together with the ways the letters combined to form a word in Ottoman Turkish.
Brief Content of the Course
The letters in the Arabic as well as in the Ottoman language in Ottoman and other Turkis historical sources will be introduced, and also the way of formation of the letters in Ottoman Turkish words then to teaching of the reading of the easy words to the students of the first year registered in the department of History.
