Course Objective
The aim of this course is to present the historical process of the Armenian Question, which began in the mid-19th century and continues to the present day.
Brief Content of the Course
The opportunities and social status that Armenians held within Ottoman society will be presented, along with the emergence of associations in the mid-19th century. Information will be provided on Armenian activities during the Ottoman-Russian War, the Treaty of San Stefano, the Cyprus Convention, and the Berlin Congress; as well as on reform efforts for Armenians, the Erzurum incident, the Musa Bey incident, and other related events.
