Course Objective
The purpose of this program is to ensure that students have sufficient knowledge and skills in the epidemiology and pathophysiology of common and important infectious diseases in society, as well as to train physicians who can diagnose infectious diseases, prescribe treatment, and successfully implement prevention measures against these diseases, who can make preliminary diagnoses of infections and carry out referral procedures, and who can manage emergency infection processes in adults in the first stage.
Brief Content of the Course
This course covers the following topics: history and physical examination, rational laboratory use, differential diagnosis, clinical use of antibiotics, approach to the febrile patient, approach to the diarrheal patient, sexually transmitted infections, sepsis and septic shock, urinary tract infection, travel health and related infections, skin and soft tissue infections, zoonotic infections, upper and lower respiratory tract infections, viral hepatitis and herpes virus infections, disinfection, antisepsis, and sterilization in daily practice, immunization in adults, hospital infections and isolation methods, and prevention, control, and treatment of infectious diseases.
