Course Objective
To enable students to learn the trends that emerged throughout the ages and their effects on clothing and to get to know the fashion designers who shaped the history of fashion.
Brief Content of the Course
Definition of fashion, events affecting fashion, ancient clothing, medieval movements and their effects on clothing fashion, new age movements and their impact on clothing fashion, contemporary trends and their impact on clothing fashion, the change of fashion in the 20th century, clothing styles and features of fashion designers who shape fashion in the world and in Turkey.
