Course Objective
To learn the force and stress that cause structure and shape changes in the earth's crust and rocks and the deformations that develop as a result of these. To recognize and learn the elements such as cracks, fissures and faults that develop as a result of breaking in rocks. To recognize and learn about folds and their types that develop under the influence of tectonic forces in stratified rocks. To recognize earthquakes and earthquake waves, to reveal the relationship between structure-earthquake and earthquake waves, to apply methods of protection from earthquakes and their damages.
