TÜME Foundation President Abdulkadir Karagöz and his delegation visited the Ayhan Şahenk Agricultural Application and Research Center at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. During the visit, on-site inspections were conducted regarding the plant and animal production activities and application areas carried out at the center.

KARGEM - Agriculture Career Cafe Event


The “Agriculture Career Cafe” event, organized in collaboration between the Niğde Provincial Directorate of National Education Career Development and Application Center (KARGEM) and the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, aimed to strengthen inter-institutional communication, increase the sharing of information and experiences, and explore career opportunities in the agricultural sector.

The event titled “Agricultural Transformation with Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems” was held at the Martyr Ömer Halisdemir Congress and Culture Center of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. The event was attended with great interest by over 300 high school students and teachers, as well as Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University staff, academics, and students.

Bal Ormanı Ağaç Dikme Töreni (5. Etap) etkinliği, çevre bilincinin artırılması, sürdürülebilir doğal kaynak kullanımının teşvik edilmesi ve arıcılık faaliyetlerine katkı sağlayacak bitki varlığının artırılması amacıyla düzenlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte etkinlik, toplumun farklı kesimlerini bir araya getirerek doğa sevgisini yaygınlaştırmayı ve gelecek nesillere daha yeşil bir çevre bırakmayı hedeflemiştir.

Niğde Kadın Kooperatifleri ile "Çörek Otu Ekimi"


Niğde Kadın Kooperatifleri ile yürütülen iş birliği kapsamında gerçekleştirilen saha uygulamasında, 5 dekarlık alanda çörek otu ekimi başarıyla tamamlanmıştır. Tarımsal üretimde kadın emeğinin güçlendirilmesi ve sürdürülebilir tarım uygulamalarının yaygınlaştırılması amacıyla düzenlenen bu etkinlik, hem akademik hem de uygulamalı açıdan önemli kazanımlar sağlamıştır.

Our university, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir, in collaboration with the Niğde Provincial Directorate of National Education and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's Education and Publications Department, held an event titled "Meeting with High School Students: We Are Looking for the Agricultural Engineers of the Future."

An Iftar event was held at our faculty, sponsored by the Şahenk Foundation.


The Iftar dinner organized by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies on February 27, 2026, was held to strengthen the feelings of unity, togetherness, and solidarity among students, academic staff, and administrative staff in the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan. The event aimed to increase the sense of institutional belonging by bringing faculty members together at the same table.
