A unit quality visit was conducted to our faculty by the Quality Coordination Office.

A unit quality visit was conducted by the Quality Coordination Office to evaluate quality processes on-site and provide feedback within our faculty. During the visit, the functioning of academic and administrative units, educational activities, and quality assurance practices were examined in detail. Commission members received information about the ongoing work and made assessments on the current situation and areas for improvement. Furthermore, suggestions for developing a sustainable quality culture were shared. It is expected that the feedback received at the end of the visit will make significant contributions to the quality processes of our faculty.

Our faculty member Prof. Dr. İzzet Parmaksız provided training on "Stress Management and Anger Control" to personnel in provincial directorates and institutions.

A training session on "Stress Management and Anger Control" was conducted by Prof. Dr. İzzet Parmaksız, a faculty member of the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling, for personnel working in Provincial Directorates and institutions. The training addressed identifying sources of stress encountered in the workplace and effective coping methods. Participants were provided with practical information on anger control and the development of healthy communication skills. The program aims to enhance the professional competencies of personnel and contribute to the establishment of more productive and healthy relationships in the workplace.

A panel titled "Autism Spectrum Disorder: Past, Present, and Future" was held at our faculty

A meaningful event was held at our faculty as part of the April 2nd World Autism Awareness Day. The panel, titled “Autism Spectrum Disorder: Past, Present, and Future,” featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sertan Talas, Dr. Fatih Koçak, and Dr. Erkan Karaman as speakers. The panel, which addressed the historical development of autism spectrum disorder and future predictions, was followed with great interest by the participants. The program was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Yasemin Yavuzer, Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim Gündoğan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Semirhan Gökçe, as well as numerous academics, students, and school administrators. At the end of the panel, certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants, and questions from the audience were answered by the speakers.

“Bak/Gör/İşte 5” Fotoğraf Sergisi Ziyaretçilerle Buluştu

The "Look/See/Here's 5" photography exhibition, featuring works by students from the Painting and Art Education Department of the Faculty of Education, was opened between March 30 and April 3, 2026. The exhibition was organized by Associate Professor Dr. Çiğdem Doğan Özcan. Showcasing the visual storytelling skills developed by students through photography, the exhibition presented original works reflecting individual perspectives. The works, which address the relationship between daily life, space, people, and the environment from different perspectives, highlighted both the aesthetic and intellectual aspects of photography. Aimed at supporting artistic production processes and developing students' creative expression possibilities, the exhibition was open to visitors from March 30 to April 3, 2026.

Within the scope of TÜBİTAK Science Talks, a conference on Family Communication was given by our Faculty Member Dr. Güldener Albayrak.

Within the framework of TÜBİTAK Science Talks, a conference was organized as part of events aimed at bringing university faculty members together with primary, middle, and high school students. On March 23, 2026, a conference on "Family Communication" was held at Mehmet Güleç Primary School in Bor district of Niğde, for the parents of the students. The conference was delivered by Dr. Güldener Albayrak, Assistant Professor in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at our faculty.

Encouraging Inclusive Education: Certificates of Appreciation Presented to Turkish Sign Language Course Team

Within the scope of efforts to strengthen accessible and inclusive education, contributors to the Turkish Sign Language Course were recognized and encouraged in line with the university’s quality-oriented approach. Certificates of Appreciation were presented to Orhan ÇETİN, director of Niğde Public Education Center; Burcu ÇELİK, Turkish Sign Language instructor; and Dr. Hidayet DİKİCİ, Coordinator of the Office of Disability Services at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, in recognition of their valuable contributions to the planning and successful implementation of the training. This recognition aims to enhance inter-institutional cooperation, increase the visibility of good practices, and support the sustainability of inclusive education initiatives.

Accreditation Interim Evaluation Pre-Consultation Meeting

Prior to the interim accreditation evaluation, a meeting was held with the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department regarding improvements in quality processes. The meeting addressed the systematic monitoring and evaluation of program outcomes, increasing the effectiveness of active counseling processes, reviewing action plans prepared in line with the continuous improvement approach, and updating Bologna information packages. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening the alignment between program outcomes and course learning outcomes, and on making assessment and evaluation processes more structured.

Future Teacher Candidates at Our Faculty: A Meaningful Visit from High School Students

Our Faculty of Education hosted high school students preparing for the university selection process. During the visit, students had the opportunity to learn comprehensively about our faculty's physical facilities, academic infrastructure, and practical opportunities. As part of the program, our Faculty Dean and department heads gave presentations on the faculty's vision, quality-oriented education approach, and academic activities conducted within the framework of continuous improvement.

A Collaboration Visit to Our Faculty from Altınsarin Arkalyk Pedagogical University of Kazakhstan.

An academic delegation from Altınsarin Arkalyk Pedagogical University in Kazakhstan visited our university to develop student exchange programs, joint degree programs, and academic collaborations. During the visit, comprehensive discussions were held regarding sustainable academic collaborations, the development of joint educational programs, and increasing mutual student and faculty mobility, in line with our internationalization goals. The delegation from Altınsarin Arkalyk Pedagogical University included Prof. Dr. Konkina Gülbarşın, Dean of the Faculty of History and Arts; Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Kaliyev Aibek, Dean of the Faculty of Philology; and Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Rahmetova Bazar, Head of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature.
