Our faculty students had the opportunity to see the theoretical knowledge they acquired in the field of information technology applied in a practical setting and gain industry experience. As part of a technical trip guided by our Vice Dean Dr. Mehmet Nadir Kurnaz, the students visited the University's Information Technology Department.

During the visit, students had the chance to examine the university's IT infrastructure, server rooms, cybersecurity applications, and data center firsthand. Information Technology Department officials shared comprehensive information about the operation of the systems, network management processes, and the technologies used.

Dr. Kurnaz stated that the technical trip made significant contributions to the students' professional vision, emphasizing that the theoretical knowledge gained in classes was reinforced through practical application. He thanked the Head of the Information Technology Department, Ms. Arzu Yılmaz, and all the department staff for their hospitality and valuable insights. The students, in turn, stated that this visit was extremely beneficial in shaping their career goals.
