The Sport-Friendly Campus Activities, carried out at our university with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle, making physical activity a part of daily life, and strengthening the unifying power of sports within the campus, have now completed their 7th week.
Since the beginning of the program, numerous practical activities have been organized across various sports disciplines with the active participation of students as well as academic and administrative staff. During this period, activities including basic movement training, table tennis, futsal, basketball, walking, kickboxing, and tennis have been conducted to improve participants’ physical fitness, encourage active living habits, and expand sports culture on campus.
Through the Sport-Friendly Campus initiative, an increase in physical activity participation, greater sports awareness, and strong interaction among participants from different age groups have been observed across the campus. The program will continue in the coming weeks with additional sports disciplines, further contributing to an active and healthy campus environment.
