Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Attends GrowTech Fair

Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies organized a technical trip to GrowTech, the world's largest greenhouse agriculture fair, to contribute to the professional development of its students and observe sectoral innovations firsthand.

Held in Antalya, the GrowTech International Agriculture Fair is recognized as the global meeting point for the agriculture sector and hosted expert institutions and organizations from all over the world. The fair, which featured over 600 participants from 26 countries, stood out this year particularly with its focus on digital agriculture technologies and sustainable production models.

The Faculty, visiting the fair as part of the technical trip, had the opportunity to examine the latest developments and innovative solutions in agricultural technologies in detail. The students received direct information from participating companies regarding smart farming applications, modern greenhouse technologies, seed breeding studies, and new-generation fertilization systems.

The students who attended the fair stated that the organization was inspiring for them, and seeing the technological transformation in the sector up close provided direction for their career goals.
