Opening Program of the "Object-Oriented Programming Python Development and Adaptation Training" Course

The opening program for the "Object-Oriented Programming Python Development and Adaptation Training" course, organized through the collaboration of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of National Education, and the Niğde Public Education Center, with the participation of Yavuz Sultan Selim Anatolian High School, was held on December 1, 2025, at our faculty’s conference hall.

The opening ceremony commenced with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, Prof. Dr. Ahmet ŞEKEROĞLU. Emphasizing the importance of the training in his speech, Prof. Dr. ŞEKEROĞLU stated that the knowledge acquired throughout the course would be of great value to the students.

Res. Asst. Emrullah POLAT stated in his address that software and automation are fundamental dynamics for many sectors and that Python is at the core of this field. He noted that through this training, trainees would:

• Build a strong foundation for professions that will gain increasing importance in the future.

• Acquire a corporate-level software development culture.

• Gain project development capabilities.

• Enhance their career and employment opportunities.

• Adapt to current technologies while increasing innovative thinking and productivity.

Following the conclusion of the opening speeches, the program proceeded with the students being escorted to the computer laboratory for the first practical lesson.
