The training session, conducted by Occupational Safety Specialists on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 09:00 in the 1923 Hall of the Campus Congress and Cultural Center, aimed to increase students' knowledge and awareness regarding the occupational health and safety risks they might encounter during their internships and professional practice periods.

The training covered topics such as the fundamental principles of occupational health and safety, risks and hazards present in work environments, the correct use of personal protective equipment, necessary measures for emergencies, the prevention of workplace accidents, and safe work behaviors. Additionally, specific risks associated with the healthcare sector and the precautions required to mitigate them were highlighted.

This pre-internship training aimed to ensure students prepare for their professional practice areas with greater awareness and safety, to foster a culture of occupational health and safety, and to support the development of safe working skills for professional practice.

Conducted as part of the educational activities of the First and Emergency Aid Program, the training sought to enhance not only the students' professional knowledge and skills but also their awareness and sense of responsibility regarding safe work practices.
