In collaboration with Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center and the Directorate of Social Contribution, a hands-on event was organized by our Chief Physician Assoc. Prof. Kevser Kurt Demirsoy and university students to raise awareness about dental health among the students of Karaatlı Şehit Şahin Yılmaz Primary School.

Future dentists – our university students – took the field to explain the importance of oral and dental health to the young pupils. As part of the event, proper tooth brushing techniques were demonstrated, and the effects of healthy eating habits on dental health were explained to the primary school students.

At the end of the event, Niğde Provincial Director of National Education, Ms. Elif Özbek, our Chief Physician, Ms. Dilek Uslu, and faculty students distributed cotton candy and other gifts to the students.

Ms. Özbek, the students, and the school’s teaching staff expressed their gratitude and satisfaction to the NÖHÜ team for organizing the event.
