A Visit from NÖHÜ Faculty of Dentistry to Hasaköy: Supporting the Women’s Cooperative in the “Welcome Summer” Event

As part of the “1st Welcome Summer Event,” Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry organized a meaningful social responsibility activity with the participation of academic and administrative staff.

The visit was carried out to support the women members of the Hasaköy Women’s Cooperative, and the event was honored by the participation of our University’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Hasan Uslu. During the event, participants had the opportunity to taste traditional dishes prepared by cooperative members.

As part of this community-oriented initiative, oral and dental health screenings were also conducted in the village by the faculty members of the Faculty of Dentistry, contributing to public health in the region.

In this impactful event where social responsibility, solidarity, and healthcare services came together, both university–community engagement was strengthened and meaningful support was given to women’s labor and empowerment.
