An orientation program was organized for the 1st-year students of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry in order to support their adaptation to the faculty and to help them become familiar with the academic environment.

With the participation of our Chief Physician and esteemed faculty members, the program began with a tour of the faculty. Students had the opportunity to visit classrooms, clinics, and laboratories, gaining insights into the facilities offered by the faculty. Following the tour, our academic staff introduced themselves and provided information about their departments as well as the educational processes they oversee.

As part of the orientation program, students were also presented with specially prepared tooth-shaped soap gifts, intended to leave them with a pleasant memory of this new beginning. The thoughtful gesture was warmly received by the students.

Our faculty aims not only to support the academic success of our students but also to foster their professional motivation. In this regard, the orientation program is expected to make a significant contribution to the students’ adjustment to university life.
