A training program titled “Key Considerations in Exam and Question Preparation” was organized by the Faculty of Dentistry at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (NÖHÜ) for its academic staff. The session was delivered by Prof. Dr. İskender Gün, a distinguished expert in the field.

During the event held within the faculty, the importance of preparing objective and high-quality questions in accordance with scientific principles for assessment and evaluation processes was emphasized. Prof. Dr. Gün provided comprehensive insights to the participants on exam formats, the technical and pedagogical aspects of question design, and evaluation criteria.

The training attracted significant interest from faculty members. Topics such as developing question banks, principles of validity and reliability, and the structuring of multiple-choice questions were discussed in detail. Practical examples were reviewed, and participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive clarifications.

In a statement from the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Dentistry, it was noted that similar training programs will continue to be held regularly to enhance the quality of education. At the end of the session, Prof. Dr. İskender Gün was thanked for his valuable contributions.
