Emergency and Disaster Management Training Held at NÖHÜ Oral and Dental Health Practice and Research Center
Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (NÖHÜ) Oral and Dental Health Practice and Research Center successfully conducted a training session on Emergency and Disaster Management as part of its annual training plan prepared in line with the Health Quality Standards.
The training, organized for the center’s staff, was delivered by one of the leading experts in the field, Prof. Dr. Sefa Ertürk. The session included both theoretical and practical components, emphasizing the importance of preparedness for emergencies and disasters. Participants were informed in detail about procedures to follow during such events, team coordination, and risk management.
In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Sefa Ertürk highlighted the critical importance of health institutions acting in a planned and organized manner in response to disasters. He noted that such training sessions play a key role in raising awareness and strengthening institutional readiness.
Officials from the NÖHÜ Oral and Dental Health Practice and Research Center stated that training programs aimed at improving the quality of healthcare services will continue throughout the year, with an emphasis on the active participation of all staff members.
