Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry, Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center, organized a training program for institutional staff within the scope of Healthcare Quality Standards (HQS).

The training covered the topics of “Emergency Response Codes,” “Infection Control and Hand Hygiene in Dentistry,” and “Adverse Event Reporting System.”

The training was delivered by Dr. Faculty Member Serra Kutlu Katırcıoğlu, who provided participants with up-to-date information on ensuring patient and staff safety, preventing and controlling infections during healthcare services, effective implementation of hand hygiene practices, responding appropriately and promptly to emergencies, and properly reporting adverse events.

The training also included information on practices aimed at ensuring the effective implementation of quality management processes and strengthening the quality and safety culture throughout the institution.

As Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry and the Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center, we will continue our training activities aimed at enhancing the professional knowledge and awareness of our staff, in line with our goal of providing high-quality, safe, and sustainable healthcare services with a focus on patient and staff safety.
