Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry will visit Bor Ahmet Kuddusi Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center as part of International Day of Older Persons, observed on October 1, with the aim of contributing to the protection of oral and dental health among older adults and raising public awareness of oral health.

The event will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., and various health and awareness activities will be organized for the residents of the nursing home.

The program will include:

• Oral and Dental Health Awareness Training,
• Oral and Dental Health Screening,
• Health and Awareness Talk.

Through the event, our Faculty of Dentistry aims to emphasize the importance of preventive oral and dental healthcare, particularly for older adults, while contributing to increased awareness of oral and dental health in the community.

As part of its commitment to public health and social responsibility, our Faculty continues to carry out activities aimed at informing different segments of society about oral and dental health and promoting healthy practices.

As Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry, we will continue our efforts to raise awareness of oral and dental health, contribute to community health, and strengthen our social responsibility initiatives for a healthy smile at every stage of life.
