The 2026 Fire and Evacuation Drill was successfully conducted at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry to raise awareness among staff and students about potential disasters and emergencies and to improve their knowledge of appropriate emergency response and evacuation procedures.

As part of the drill, practical exercises were carried out on the precautions to be taken in the event of a fire or possible explosion, emergency response procedures, safe evacuation processes, and the duties and responsibilities of emergency response teams. Participants were also informed about the necessary actions to be taken during emergencies, emphasizing the importance of being prepared for potential risks.

The drill aimed to enhance the knowledge and awareness of staff and students regarding emergency situations and to improve their ability to respond quickly and appropriately to potential hazards.
