Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry organized an informational event within the scope of Patient Rights Day to raise awareness about patient rights and emphasize the importance of protecting these rights.

During the event, participants were informed about patients' rights to access healthcare services, receive information, maintain privacy and confidentiality, benefit from healthcare services under safe and equal conditions, give informed consent, and fulfill their responsibilities as patients.

The event highlighted the importance of patient satisfaction, mutual respect and trust, ethical principles, and sensitivity to patient rights in the delivery of healthcare services. The necessity of increasing public awareness of patient rights was also emphasized.
