The "1st International Digital Agriculture Congress" Will Be Held at Our University

Our congress is planned to be held on September 18-20, 2025, under the leadership of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey, Sivas Cumhuriyet University, NÖHÜ Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, NÖHÜ Ayhan Şahenk Agricultural Application and Research Center, and Turkish Science and Technology Publications (TURSTEP), with the support of KOP, AHİLER, and our industry stakeholders.

This congress, which will be held in honor of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan USLU, the founder of the Interdisciplinary Digital Agriculture Department and who has generously supported the establishment of the Department, is anticipated to make significant contributions to the digitalization of Turkish agriculture and the efficient use of resources.

Today, with the growing world population, the demand for agricultural food is increasing. Innovative methods such as smart agricultural technologies are being developed to meet this demand. In parallel with global technological advancements, digital agriculture efforts have also begun in Türkiye. The "1st International Digital Agriculture Congress", which aims to bring together scientists who support digital agriculture with their scientific studies at national and international levels, industry representatives who put scientific technology into practice, and producers who use this technology in practice and aim to use resources efficiently, will be hosted by Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University between 18-20 September 2025.
