By NÖMER, an online Training of Trainers Program was organized on December 4–5, 2025, for the academic and administrative staff of our university. Within the scope of the program, comprehensive training was provided to the participants under the title of Basic Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

The training sessions covered the following topics: a general overview of OHS, the legal rights and obligations of employers and employees, the legal and criminal consequences resulting from occupational accidents, safety culture, the causes and reporting of occupational accidents, workplace order, emergency situations, hazards that may be encountered at the university and the associated risks, points to be considered, and risk assessment topics. In addition, the points to be considered were supported with practical examples, and the active learning of the participants was encouraged.

At the end of the program, it was stated that certificates of participation would be awarded to the participants who successfully completed the training.
