December “Training of Trainers Program” for Our University’s Academic and Administrative Staff


By NÖMER, an online Training of Trainers Program was organized on December 4–5, 2025, for the academic and administrative staff of our university. Within the scope of the program, comprehensive training was provided to the participants under the title of Basic Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

Training on the Effective Use of the Learning Management System (LMS)


A training program titled “Effective Use of the Learning Management System (LMS)” was organized for our students in cooperation with our University’s Teaching and Learning Center and the Distance Education Application and Research Center. The training was held online via Microsoft Teams on Monday, December 1, 2025, between 11:00 and 12:00. During the training, information was provided on the correct, effective, and efficient use of the Learning Management System (LMS) by students. The training was delivered by Lecturer Mehmet Mevlüt ODACI, staff member of the Distance Education Application and Research Center.

Stress Management


An event titled “Stress Management” was organized by the Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Teaching and Learning Center (NÖMER) on November 24, 2025, at the Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Congress and Culture Center for university students.

Effective Use of EBYS Training


An online training session on ‘Effective Use of EBYS’ was delivered by Ersin ŞENZEK, the EBYS system administrator at the Information Technologies Department of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, for our university’s academic and administrative staff. During the training, information on the correct and efficient use of the system was provided.

“Training of Trainers Program” Held for the Academic Staff of Our University


In October, an online Trainer Training Program was organized by NÖMER to contribute to the professional development of our university’s academic staff. The program covered the topics of Effective Presentation Preparation and Delivery Techniques, Active Learning Methods, Assessment and Evaluation in Education, and Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications.

Active Advising System Training


An online training on the Active Advising System for the academic staff of our university was delivered by Prof. Dr. Yasemin ALTUNCU, a faculty member of the Faculty of Engineering at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. The training provided information on the use of the system.

An educational session on “Leadership” was delivered to the academic and administrative staff of our university by Prof. Dr. Mustafa TAŞLIYAN, a faculty member at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University, on May 26, 2025, between 11:00 and 12:00. Writing Program and Course Learning Outcomes


Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Teaching and Learning Center (NOMER) organized an online training session titled “Writing Program and Course Learning Outcomes.” The training was attended by our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Nafiz Tok, along with the academic staff of our university. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cennet Göloğlu Demir from Bandırma 17 Eylül University delivered a presentation on “Writing Program and Course Learning Outcomes.” In her presentation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cennet Göloğlu Demir addressed key points on how to write program and course learning outcomes, how to calculate ECTS workload, and provided relevant examples. The training concluded with a Q&A session where participants' questions were answered. We extend our gratitude to all participants and especially to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cennet Göloğlu Demir for her valuable contributions.

NOMER Board of Directors Meeting Held


The NOMER Board of Directors convened on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 16:00 in the meeting room of the Directorate of Administrative and Financial Affairs. The meeting addressed the following topics: the establishment of an Advisory Board, the formulation of a policy on student-centered learning, teaching methods, and techniques, the training programs to be organized by NOMER in the 2024-2025 Academic Year, and the review of survey results from the "Active Advisory System" and "Determination and Writing of Program Outcomes and Course Learning Outcomes" training sessions conducted by NOMER.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cennet Göloğlu Demir, Deputy Coordinator of Quality at Bandırma 17 Eylül University, provided training to our university's academic staff on "Determination and Writing of Program Outcomes and Course Learning Outcomes."

Active Advising System Training


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Şakir DOKUZ provided training to our academic staff on the use of the Active Advisory System, which has been decided to be implemented university-wide starting from the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
